    • Charis Pazaroulas is the second principal double bassist of the Athens State Orchestra, a member of the contemporary music ensemble TETTTIΞ, and a member of the artistic research group Ov Off. He is known for his strong interest in the study, interpretation, and performance of contemporary and experimental music. He has performed as a solo artist or ensemble member at festivals such as the Athens Epidaurus Festival, the Electroacoustic Music Days 2024, Tectonics Athens '22, the 7th Kallio New Music Days, Tulkinnanvaraista, and the Impuls Festival – MinuteConcerts. Throughout his extensive artistic career, he has collaborated with the Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra, the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Greek National Opera, the Orchestra of Colours and the Athens Philharmonia Orchestra. Charis Pazaroulas is a graduate on double bass of the Department of Music Studies – Ionian University, of the Athens Conservatoire, of the Sibelius Academy of Finland and he is a PhD/Dma  title of the Department of Music Science & Art of the University of Macedonia, where his research is focused on works for solo double bass and electronic media by Greek composers. His debut album, TRANSCENDENCE I, was released in May 2024 by the Japanese record label Zappak.
